Mary Adedoyin has received one of the three best paper awards at the 20^th Southern African Telecommunication Networks and Applications Conference (SATNAC). The paper, titled "QoS-Aware Radio Resource Allocation for Green Wireless Communication in 5G Networks" proposes a QoS-aware algorithm with adaptive modulation and coding scheme (QRRA-AMC) capable of mitigating cross-tier and co-tier interference in heterogeneous wireless networks by minimizing the transmit power for green communication. Mary Adedoyin co-authored the paper with her supervisor, A/Prof. Olabisi Falowo.
